Yeah I agree! These massive planned scaled events helps a lot and brings a fun little twist to our style of gameplay!

Well these events do happen rather often (the most recent being the Halloween and Christmas one) I honestly cant wait for the next one but I think it’d be hard to find reasons to have them.

Well, it may be fun to you but most people do not attend because CoV just host a killing spree and leaves everyone to not even enjoy the event.

Im just saying it can be fun to you guys but to others who can’t fight back then you kinda ruin it for the rest.

While it’s not really a massive event per say, I remember seeing a plugin a while back where, every few hours or so (adjustable) a chest would spawn randomly on an unclaimed area of the map filled with loot. You could type a command that told you within how many blocks you were of the chest as you went for it. The loot would depend on the rarity tier of the chest (E.g., common, uncommon, rare, epic, legendary). It then became a race to see who could get to the chest first.

If anything, that would get players active and moving around in the world.

Yeah Ive used it, it does not respect griefprevention, people will not be happy with a giant schematic just spawning in their base or breaking their redstone haha plus it was buggy as hell

Me and Callie have made some epic custom mobs in the past, but it takes months of prep to create and test even a single decent boss, weekly is an insane time frame.

He is suggesting an event that would encourage pvp for several reasons, the main one is most likely, as you pointed out, because he enjoys pvp. Now there is nothing wrong with this, as someone who enjoys a specific aspect of the game, it is perfectly reasonable to want and request more of it to be included in the gameplay. As such, it would be perfectly reasonable for the PvErs to request that the server hosts more building events, if that is what they want. with nice PvE style prizes, such as colored godpicks and lots of building blocks. Wouldnt it be a better idea to suggest your own events, which would encourage and reflect your style of gameplay? Rather than crying when other people suggest new things that reflect their own playstyle and not yours?

I would not being using solis as an excuse for everything.

I was there at the last event and I didn’t see people bluntly attack you guys… I saw dag and joe pot up next to me and try to kill me.

You guys just need to admit, if you want this to be a fun thing for us all. Put down your damn swords for once and let us all actually try to enjoy ourselves rather than you hiding behind, well solis this and solis that. I would admire you better if you actually took owner ship of the fact you guys start 50% of the fights just so most of you can get the loot..you should just call it COV Loot time! With there there excuse backup Solis! I’m not just saying its COV but solis can at times but not to COV’s drasic extent…
