Where to Base?

Well as you can most likely tell from the title I need some ideas on where to base. It seems that all the islands are either taken or are really close to a taken island. Along with that most of the good beach spots are either taken or in ruins so can someone provide me with some ideas on where to base. (Don’t be specific just give me a general area or a land type). 😀

Join a Crew, They are bound to have some beach or island (like we do) you can use and work on and settle at.

Look around the map for a bit. You should find SOMEWHERE to make a base.

15 minute walking distance radius from spawn/cove is a pretty bad spot to be. Very well settled, and highly targeted by raiders.

Ok i will try to make this serious after athenmos post again:
Look at the livemap and look for /warp south.
If you found that check the area to its southwest.
There are plenty of unsettled beaches and islands.
Also if you are lucky: many now inactive players settled there once so maybe you can get a claim removed and live in that old castle some random player left.
You could also go from that sea to the west but as there is evermoore close to that sea i doubt you will be able to live there peacefully.

There’s plenty of giant continent’s that are untouched, again check the live map! I’m going to excitement with chunk deletion soon to see if I can quickly regen old areas of the world.

WOOP!!

There is quite a few islands in the middle sea and areas which are just poo full of pretty much long gone players who still have measly claims on there little island of craters or dirt houses.

I think just like some people do every year, we should do a spring cleaning.

Basically all the islands are reviewed and their claims or claim owners there.

If the owner is inactive (for a long time) or someone has a claim on an island but there is nothing on it should be removed and regenerated.

Again most beaches and bays have been ruined in this way.

Many great spots have already been claimed and used but I never see anything new or anyone going in places like this.

This should be also considered.
