This isn’t really logical to me.

Fighting till your last breath doesn’t mean you are turkish fighter.

Fighting for one flag doesn’t mean you are a brave Turk.

And the “you dont need to be a turk to join” sentence just doesn’t match the statements you wrote above. It just seems like “you don’t have to fight till your last breath nor fight for one flag to join”, but it’s only my opinion.

The name “Turkish Empire” is also a synonym of “Ottoman Empire” so maybe just think of choosing other nation to pick up name from if Solid still wants that name reserved for himself? Or just ask him, it shouldn’t be much of a problem.

Im trying to help you out here and say take it slow and not claim to have an empire if it is just 1 city.

Nothing personal but take it a step at a time from settlement to colony to city to kingdom to empire just don’t go to fast.

what there trying to say is that you just took the capital of the Ottoman’s  and then turned it into you’re own gruop….For the second time….not that many people have taking names from asia and africa you should try looking up names there (but you could also make a original name so none of this happens….)
