I think this is a great idea. Although I like helping the new people get started out in PirateCraft, it gets tiresome explaining the same thing over and over again. A trailer to refer new players to would be absolutely amazing. We should all get together as a community (anyone who has teamspeak)  and make this a reality.

I have some shots in my head that I want to shoot for the trailer already, we need to open I think, at sunset, looking at a desert island, and a ship sails past slowly.

Lets get some ideas for what should be in it.

We need a structure to this video, so how about we do some short shoots of certain scenes and places, like you flying over a town, a beach, a fort, a pirates cove, (these are all quick flyover) and these short shoots end with you flying slowly toward the scene God’s described, (for the soundtrack of this we could play the first 28 seconds of Fog Bound, –> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFjDw7oggE0&index=1&list=RDaFjDw7oggE0 ) and then, it switches to some good pirate-y action music ( I recommend one of the Pirates of the Caribbean songs again 😉 and we go back to all those scenes that we took short shots of, and we take some longer battle scenes with the action music playing.

Example, since the peaceful shots end with the filmer flying toward the scene Gods described, we could begin with that ship getting attacked by pirates,

then cut to a British commanders face, and zoom out from there to see a large expanse of foot troops (player extras) and cannons, the camera man then does a 180 spin and turns to a fort flying (French, Spanish?) colors, the camera man then backs up to the British lines in time to see the British release their first volley of cannonballs + flaming arrows (is there a texture pack that makes them look like musket balls + muskets?)

then maybe a bar fight scene, some more ships sailing, some more shots of towns, some more ships exploding, a pirate hideout, and maybe it ends with a shot of a massive pirate treasure cave filled with good loots!

Evermoor is a nice place to shoot an empire

Narrator says something like this

Make you village or an empire its up to you

And you show godsdead flying over evermoor

To my knowledge, only cjmaca and I have Youtube/video making experience. (Sorry to the other people you just don’t put yourself out there so I just don’t know). I use a couple of mods while filming and I know for a fact that I can create various cameras even on multiplayer servers so I can get working on this immediately if Godsdead wants me to. Someone just map out the storyline or plan out the trailer and I can do the filming and editing ( along with other help of course 🙂 )
