Briefly looked at the discord suggestions channel, Torkey suggested extremely specific rules for specific questions.

I have already setup a system specifically for this, official page is https://piratemc.com/information/rules/

At the bottom is a Wiki page https://wiki.piratemc.com/Rules

I suggest we go with Torkey’s suggestion by populating the Wiki page, anyone can help write extremely specific rules, and we can copy them over to the main rules page if they are written well and are accepted by staff, if you don’t know the answer, you could always leave the question in here or on the Wiki page for someone else to edit.

Most of the time its general common sense, and I have yet to find any of the current rules that cant cover a question/rule I have been asked.

There are so many variables to minecraft it would be impossible to cover everything in detail. But maybe we haven’t covered a certain area you think needs to be added to the rules.

Last time I did this forum thread, everyone’s suggestions just ended up being categorised under what we have already, so actually take 10 second to re-read the rules before posting. Consider if we could extend an existing rule first.

There is a solid gold reason we do not have solidified static punishments based on certain rule breaking, each instance differs, say for example;

Someone X-rays, well that’s 6 months right? Well what about if they are a long term player that just slipped up once? What about if they are a brand new player? There are always many variables to consider and there usually cant be a blanket 1 for all, as people are assholes and they will argue against what is written or how they are punished, so its SUPPOSE to be open ended to staff interpretation.

“But it says XYZ on the rules list so I shouldn’t be punished, I think you should do this..” Errr No buddy, I am not having this.

We will soon be adding a whole different type of punishment system to the server for trial as a different way to handle some people. 🙂
