I thought I removed these in the recent update, Im about 80% geared towards removing all stone based items from ships, Im re-working the cove spawning, and I need docks ships don’t stick to if you crash them into them, assuming I already removed stonebrick, stoneslabs and stone stairs from ships I was confused why the ships were getting stuck, there on… I cant see any good design use for stone-brick on ships, this would allow us to build actual good looking docks using stone at the edges to stop ships from getting stuck when released.
I will await what people think, There will be a few ships that will use stone in their designs, but im talking about a greater issue that a few ship designs here, having usable docks.

But yeah this is a good idea… I currently use cobble for my docks…

December 16, 2015 at 11:51 pm #25276I think all stone except for stone slabs, 1.8 chiseled blocks, chiseled stone, and cobble wall should be removed. It would be more convenient though if they all stayed. Yes, i do understand it would force people to build more realistic ships from the pirate era made exclusively from wood, but these blocks when used right can be realistic and a variety and detail to a ship. Cobble wall can be uses to make railings, intricate bow spirits, etc when chiseled stones add detail to ships. Stone slabs are really useful when it comes to making a realistic/appealing cabin for some ships. I also understand it may interfere with docks, but then traditional wood docks can be made and are also more realistic. If stone is necessary, cobble can be used as mentioned above. The more variety, the better. That is what I always say. 😀
