Hey fellow pirates/sailors!

Quick post to let everyone know of the ship battle tomorrow!

When:

Start time will be 19:00 GMT 2nd Jan (2pm est or 11 pst)

Where:

Screenshot in attachments for the map location!

Rules:
- Schooner size and larger
- Submarines are allowed
- All crew/fleet sizes allowed
- Cobble shot only
- No swimming – if you fall into water you must return to your ship before continuing
- A spectators area will be setup (using vanilla boats is fine but do so at your own risk)
- /top or pearling onto other ships is not allowed
- No boarding (bows are allowed)
Ships can either be sailed to, or built at, the location

Taking screenshots or recordings is encouraged and members of the media team will be present to document the battle!

We are currently building a small island port which can be used to host future ship battles. I’m sure we will have another battle soon! (but limit who is allowed to TP in to avoid a repeat of todays debacle)

Will the island have spots for us to claim boats? Id like to dock a indiaman there if I can claim it.

I’m not sure what the best way to organise this would be?
- Either leave the dock areas unclaimed so players can make a claim round their ship.
- Claim it myself and give people who are building ships trust.
- People can build their ships out in the water or nearby islands and dock them after using a ship lock (like at ae0s)
What do you think will be easier?
