This would certainly nice to see, not only being able to buy claims, but also renting them, as it’s done at /warps shops. I can see this being abused by players claiming large chunks of land and then making others pay if they want to build anywhere, so there would need to be some safety mechanisms.(perhaps having a rule that you can only rent/sell claims if they have proper buildings in it and by this I mean houses or castles, not just a dirt cube and those who break the rule will be punished by mods OR making rentable/sellable claims available only in towns&settlements that are listed in the official towns&settlements page)

I’m not sure if what I’m suggesting is possible or how it would be done, these are just some ideas off the top of my head and I hope they help.

If I remember correctly, there was a way to glitch the plugin to get infinite claim blocks, so it was removed.   Aside from that, the plugin was very useful.  I’d love to see it make a return if the bug was fixed.

Yes thats the extension, there were copious amounts of issues with it that it will not come back, heres a short list;

1. You don’t sell your claimblocks, thats not how it works, your claim blocks are calculated live based on your existing plots on the server, they don’t magically transfer. If you were to buy someone elses plot and you didn’t have enough claim blocks, you would go into minus claims, this was a large issue at one point, now GriefPrevention auto checks for minus block counts and resets them to 0! this means people could abuse this glitch over and over by just creating signs!!! Absolutely no way.
2. I do not want claim transfers at all, this creates a catastrophe for players that are trying to get themselves banned, or people that use alts, or previously banned players. Everyone could setup a secret hidden sign, and if they got banned come back with an alt and re-claim their base, absolutely no way at all.
3. There needs to be a Return ratio for removing claims, this can just be bypassed with selling claims.
4. People used to setup shitty plots near spawn to cash in on new players that would click the signs as a “starting house” these were vile, and it was entirely to make money.

The plugin was rarely used if at all; and when it was it was used in terrible ways that put negative effects on the server.

You can do this just manually, if you want to sell your claim blocks to another player, just convert them to money first and send them the money! its that simple. yes there is a tax, that the price of business.

Want to sell a plot? put a sign saying /mail me a price. They pay you, you remove the claim, done. if they cant claim it, then its their fault. we have a marketplace forum https://piratemc.com/forums/marketplace/ and we also have a marketplace on the discord, and later on we will have a trade/marketplace in-game chat.

Other alternatives, if you go back and read all my posts about shops you will read about me specifically talking about selling and reselling plots of land, I had an idea floating around for a city like /warp shop that could have plots be bought and resold or rented by players, that wont happen any time soon as the main /warp shop needs a full refurbishment of price and settings.

This real estate plugin was cancer, it didn’t work properly and caused a ton of issues. Sorry yall!
