[Request] Change Ship Name at Warp Ships

First, I think this is the correct forum to post this in, but if not please move it to the correct forum.

Currently there is a ship at warp ships named “Columbine.” If anyone does not know why I am requesting this to be changed, just look up Columbine or go here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columbine_High_School_massacre

I’m not sure why there was a ship named this but I hope it can be renamed soon. Jmoo changed the name on the inside of the ship but I think it would regen back to Columbine if someone rented that dock.

It also was an Australian Immigration ship during the 19th Century… you drew the connection between the ship name and the shooting. The ship could be named after a flower for gods sake as it is defined in the Merriam-Webster dictionary. No mention of the shooting mind you.

Definition of columbine : any of a genus (Aquilegia) of plants of the buttercup family with irregular showy spurred flowers: such as

a : a red-flowered plant (A. canadensis) of eastern North America

b : a blue-flowered plant (A. caerulea) of the Rocky Mountains

During the ship-building competition, @GodsDead asked for the ships to be named after flowers. I’ll leave it with him as to whether the ship name should be changed.

This is just ridiculous micro-nit picking, its nothing to do with the shooting, the ship isn’t called “Columbine High School massacre”

The word Columbine is not specific to this one thing.

The ship was named by a player that built it, most likely based on the 1806 HMS Columbine, which pre-dates your shooting by 193 years, most likely older than the USAs entire modern history.

This vessel captures Pirate ships.

It wasn’t even recent, it was 1999 it happened. I assume you just Googled the word Columbine and came to that solution without actually doing research into the ship history?
