Unban Appeal:

It was wrong of me to say what I said in crew chat about my opinion of the staff team. I realize that I was only perpetuating the idea that staff were holding me back, entirely against me. Instead, it was actually my own feelings that were doing so; those feelings held me back from truly enjoying all aspects of the server, as I was more focused on further adversity between us. This behavior was inexcusable and inappropriate. I truly would like the opportunity to redeem myself in your eyes, and redeem my reputation across the server as a respectable six-year veteran.
I also acknowledge that my ban was a culmination of all my previous interactions and the on-going drama from earlier that year, and not just reliant on what I said. At the time of the ban, I had been attempting to curb my poor behavior since June of 2020. Obviously, I had failed.
I’m sorry for the difficulties I have caused, I no longer feel the same level of immaturity and I feel I have developed the proper respect for our player base.
Over the past five months I have taken the time to contemplate what happened in February and I thoroughly believe I have matured enough to return to the PirateCraft server, with a new mindset and attitude. I have grown to further understand the weight of my actions and words, but as well the many discretions prior to my ban that ultimately resulted in it. I purposely avoided appealing in order to give myself the necessary time to improve my attitude and disposition. I do not intend on pursuing any of the useless drama of before and I want to properly behave.
I apologize deeply for this drama—that drama prevented me from appreciating the community here, and only adding to the tasks that our staff have. While I have personally grown substantially since February, I still feel the nostalgia of PirateCraft & building, and video games in general. Watching idly from the chats of discord has pronounced the fun and inclusivity of PMC, while the many conflicts that I have missed have reminded me of the fonder days spent with my crew and other veterans, leading Papal & VER and recruiting deckhands. With the recent return of some regular ‘oldies’, it has only been inspiring to return to the gameplay that I’ve distanced myself from and to complete my unfinished builds. I would truly love the opportunity to return to playing regularly and to rectify my mistakes; making peace would be my first goal.
