As the title says, this will be the future place to make me aware of your interest in renting a shop in my town. I have in the past handled this matter while beig online, but seing as more and more people are interested at times where i was busy i think it is only fair to create this thread, so people can apply at all times and not only when i have time to talk to them about it.

The shops are divided into numbers just to make it easier to navigate in the map below:

Following shows the status of each plot:

1. Currently rented out to Crabriel until; 01-04-15

2. Currently rented out to Chailey until; 31-04-15     Claim fee-750£/75 diamonds, monthly rent- 100£/ 10 diamonds

3. Vacant Claim fee-150£/15 diamonds, monthly rent.30£/ 3 diamonds

4. Vacant    Claim fee-200£/20 diamonds, monthly rent- 30£/3 diamonds

5. Vacant Claim fee-400£/40 diamonds, monthly rent- 60£/6 diamonds

6. reserved to eph Claim fee-500£/50 diamonds, monthly rent- 80£/8 diamonds

7. Vacant Claim fee-300£/30 diamonds, monthly rent-40£/4 diamonds

8. Vacant Claim fee-350£/35 diamonds, Monthly rent-40£/4 diamonds

9. Temporarily out of towns possesion

11. Vacant Claim fee 500£/50 diamonds, monthly rent-70£/7 diamonds

Claim fee – This is a fee i charge at the start of each rental period, this is because of the tedious work i have to do each time anyone doesnt pay their rent, leaves their shop unused and or leaves unused chest signs in the shop, which i cannot remove myself. It’s also a barrier to players who just throws themselves into the business without thinking long term, thus leaving their shop unused two days after purchased, meaning the shop will be empty for a whole month, which is sad.

Monthly rent – this is the actual rent paid each rental period, which goes 31 days. If the rent is not paid at the end of the month, there will be a one week period where i will prompt you to pay, if the rent is still not paid, you will be evicted without warning and all your possesions may be confiscated.

Btw, @Godsdead, Shop no. 2 and shop no. 7 are the ones That i am talking about. I need a fix to remove any signs from previous owners, in order to make this system work.

I cannot rent out at property with stuck signs that no one, but the one who placed them down, can remove.

I will have to remove those signs for you, and I will! Can you put signs on/in the shops you want me to remove signs from (So I dont cock it up and destroy someones shop haha) Then I can do this when I next remember!

Charter is updated. The list now also shows prices so that should make it easier for everyone.

I will also be adding a diamond payment method inside the town hall if here is anyone wanting to pay with diamonds instead. I added this method because this makes it possible for everyone to make payments even if im not online.

how it works is you throw the amount of diamonds you have t pay into the hopper, then write a notebook for me with the amount of diamonds paid and why they were paid. If you dont sign the book ill be able to return it to you for re use in the future.

And for @ephrygian. Either when im online we can do the transfer if you are still interested or you can wait untill i get the diamond pay-thing set up. then once i get the payment i can give you trust inside the shop.

Remember Claim fee is for the first month, then the following months its normal monthly rental fee.

Diamond payment is now an option, this goes for paying rent or for reserving a shop in town.

To pay rent you simply go to town hall, find the diamond payment setup, throw the right amount of diamonds in the hopper (1 diamond = 10£). then comes the tricky part; Throw in a notebook, which you have written inside the amount you pay, what you pay for, along with you username. The book doesnt have to be signed, this way i can give you back the book, just make sure to write your username inside the book so i know who you are.

Here is a guide on how to make a notebook, you can write in, also known as book and quill:

If you do not know what your rent is, go upstairs and look at the rental records listing all current shopowners and their rental information.

There are also signs with all info at the location of the diamond payment setup if you are in doubt.

Also if anything goes wrong, if you pay the wrong amount or if the shop you are reserving is already reserved, you will of course get your diamonds back, once i can get in contact with you. I say this as a trusted merchant of the server who has been involved in honorable trades for a long time, so please don’t be afraid that i will scam you, i offer this service because it is not possible to transfer money to an offline player therefore only making it possible to pay rent if you are online at the same time as i, which can be unlikely sometimes. So please if you will, embrace this new service that i will be offering in a trial period, if everything works out, which i am sure it will, i will make it permanent.
