Hey I know of plugin that allows the use of actual barrels and another which may be a mod that has blocks for brewing itself and has recipes for crafting? Could these be possible addons to the game?

Sounds like a mod mate. So no. PirateCraft is great about all the things that are available and yet it only uses plugins.
