Hey its me 4orange, i am aware of my punishment and i take full responsibility and for my actions. But i would like to spread some of the ideas that i have learned from my time away from this server, more importantly low protection and sharpness swords and disabling fire weapons and creating events for players to fight at or over and not being able to hit your friends/crewmates.. The reason for this is to encourage pvp and to make pvp more relaxed. For many people pvp is an exciting aspect of minecraft as your heart is racing and you must rely on your fingers to make the correct move; and if you throw in voice chat then the experience is that much more exciting. However on piratecraft these experiences don’t happen that often as the fights are few and far between as many people are simply afraid to fight and lose another “god set”. This in my opinion ruins the gameplay of many players as for the people who go on this server just to pvp will not get as much of it and switch servers for the thrill of fighting. It also makes it worse on the regular people who don’t have god sets as many of the people who do have god sets target those who don’t in an effort to create a thrill for themselves and to get loot. However if we limited the protection to prot 1 then everyone’s experience will be alot better as the grind is not as intense. For example my faction, a few days ago on saturday were able to create 13 diamond sets, 2 bard sets and 15 words to prot 2 sharp 2 in under 5 minutes and were able to rush end and nether(were f top 2 btw we have 200 kills in less than 2 days). If anyone has tried playing with only sharp 1 prot 1 then they will know the fun it offers as you are not afraid to lose sets.
The reason why i want to disable fire weapons such as fire swords and bows is due to a simple reason. That reason being events that can be held. What i am suggesting is events such as koth and glowstone mountain and treasure island. Winners of koth can get loot that no one else can such as sharp 2 swords, fire bows and swords and prot 2 armour. These coveted items would be worth fighting over at koths as they are one of a kind. To limit the spread of these weapons they should not be able to be mended or fixed. So they can run their natural course and eventually die out. Glow stone mountain can be a fighting ground over glowstone and gunpowder for they are both essential for potions. It can reset every hour or two and as people will battle over these resources. Treasure island can store valuables and coveted items such as ghast tears, gold blocks, diamond blocks and iron blocks along with maxed armour pieces: ex prot 1 unbreaking 3. These would encourage pvp to something never before seen on this server. In the server’s biggest battles the most that’s ever happened was a 10v 15 but with these bands of friends and crews can create teams of up to 25.; with this massive amount of people banded so close together there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that more people would join the server and be more active. And not being able to attack individuals within your team is beneficial because now being in a crew means something rather than just for show.
For those of you who have godsets and are concerned about what will happen to them well i have a solution. One god set will be equal to 3 prot one sets as we need to account for unbreaking, featherfall and depth strider. To receive the prot one sets you have been promised take a screenshot and post it on forums and you should get the prot one sets that you deserve. And this would also be good in ship to ship combat as now it would be more realistic as now grapeshot can actually hurt people.
As the person who brought hcf into this server i would like others to experience the fun and joy that i have had. I am also not trying to get unbanned just yet by the way so don’t treat this as an unban<

May 28, 2019 at 12:04 pm #62413I’m a non – pvper. My ping is generally a bit higher than most pvpers, and I never put in the hours of practice to learn how to fight effectively. I play this game for the creativity in building and I chose a pvp enabled server for the sense of mortality it gives you which makes the game far more immersive for me.
However this doesnt mean I am not interested in pvp at all – it looks quite fun. Currently the barrier to entry for me is the very expensive gear required to fight, meaning if I’m not reasonably sure of winning then theres no point fighting since the gear lost when you die is so valuable. Removing top tier gear so that the best equipment for pvp is reasonably cheap would mean I would happily get involved in fights since the gear lost is not an issue.
If this change would not negatively effect the combat experience for those who do get involved in pvp regularly (which I couldnt really comment on since I’m not involved in that side of things) then I think it would be a positive change for those of us who are currently reluctant to get involved in combat.

- Disable enchants above level 1-2.
- I put this idea out 2-3 years ago, and the “issue” was “what about all the existing enchanted items?” Answer that one for me your “post a screenshot to the forums and get staff to replace it” err? fuck off?
- Disable fire on weapons? Fires not that powerful if you use fire protection.
- Game server, we literally had a game server with a PVP server, you are requesting something we already had, KOTH has always been planned. No idea what glowstone mountain or treasure island are, they sound like named game servers not game modes.
- Adding in literal mountains full of loot into a SURVIVAL SERVER that regenerates is fucking retarded. I’m not going to waste my time explain why having a mountain that generates diamond that renews is a bad idea, that is someones idea that does not know how to run a long-life server.
- No mending/fixed. I agree, again I voiced my opinion on disabling mending enchant day 1 before it went live, community decided against me and wanted it.
