Old Crews and Claims

I walk around almost every day and then see a disfigured house and I stop and ask myself, why is that there in our cool world? Well i walk up and try to break it, and bam, its claimed by a person who hasn’t been on in ages.

What i’m asking for is the disbandment of crews and the elimination of claims if the person has not been active for over 2 months, then we will no longer have these annoying structures anymore.

If this topic has already been asked about i’m sorry, i’m a new player and when i see a server with potential i try to make it a little better, knowing my word isn’t that much.

But if a player says they will be off and they want there claim saved, that can be arranged. But other than that all other claims that have been vacant should be erased.

The current rules are, if you have been inactive for 3 months, with less than a days playtime, bam, claims get deleted. Also, they get deleted if they are blocking the expansion of someone’s base, or if they are solely there to annoy you. In all other instances, they remain.

Although those requirements end up leaving a ton of inactive player’s claims laying around the map, preventing people from building and just making the world look ugly…especially in the area near cove. Have you taken a look at that general area? It’s a dump. Why? Well, because of these rules…they’re a bit broken. I agree with Ethan, if the person just suddenly disappears with no warning at all? Delete the claims after a few months. There should be a thread on the server where you can post and leave a notice that you’ll be away for a certain length of time.

Click the Server Projects and Master Thread List in my signature, you can request any claim to be removed in the remove a claim thread, If the build is bad we will regenerate it when we remove the claim.

I was thinking like a server shutdown that is temporary where slowly claims will be processed and if don’t fit the guidelines are deleted.

thats wayyyy to crazy XD

if u have a claim that you want to delete because it is in your way, listen to what godsy said.

plus if that happened at every restart the server would be sooooo laggy.
