@godsdead Here’s a thought – what if we did an 8 hour trial on a friday night? Long enough to get people’s feet wet, but not long enough to piss of everyone in the world.

@GodsDead I am all in for this idea! Finally a chance for me to sail warships again! Just tell me if you need any help!

On a side note… Beforehand can the oceans be cleaned at least a little bit of the 5 block and islands and the floating wood/sail remains? At least in central areas like near spawn and cove…

Also I propose doing a small treat run before the weekend event… I.e. one Saturday before the event weekend to iron out the problems…

Also I’m worried about the weekends and bad tps because of incompetent server owners so that could cause a problem…

@aniviankevinlu you’re hilarious, Yeah let me just go clean all the oceans, Erm no? how about you clean the paths you want to sail! This is stupid, Because after the event the sea will be littered again!!! so its pointless waste of about the 10-30 hours it would take.

@arinthros This will take a lotof setting up, its not like I can just flick a switch or change 1 line or something, It needs to be worth the time spent sorting it out, I may change it to 1 day but then thats not really an event weekend is it? Thats the point, if you have played any other games they do “weekend events” they don’t do “8 hours on a Friday night”, and as for it being a trial THIS IS THE TRIAL! A trial for a permanent world setup like that! im sure Ive said that already.

As a heads up, this isn’t going to happen soon, this is a forum discussion to gauge peoples reactions to such an event and to gather ideas to improve it, so you all have plenty of time to prepare in whatever way you need to, we will definitely need am incentive! Im thinking trade routes to buy & sell between towns, we can use existing towns to do this, so feel free to post up if you are interested in having an area in your town for this that’s accessible by sea.

I gods i’ll try to not spam allot (but dork did it more then me O-O),

On a side note:

i’ve just finist my model ship of the going merry (wich i will make on the server in the next 3 days),it took me a hole day to make it but it’s my own original model of the going merry and i love it! Sadly it’s 510 blocks over the limit of a Galleon and i’ll onlly drive it when i’m a donator after this… and i promise my self to be a donator once i get my castle (that you can see on the map…..),some good ship’s (going merry being my main ship) and that i got to the rank of boatswain…..(and then i have to convince my parents into paying for codes that will allow me to have bigger codes on my codes for 2 months…. ). anyways here some pics.
