<span style=”font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: ‘Times New Roman’,’serif’;”>Stone. Stone is a very bountiful but valuable commodity, but, the way to get it is destructive (holes in the ground and underground caverns). I was wondering with the deterioration of our huge world (potholes everywhere, huge pits in the ground, whole biomes treeless) that we should make Mining/Material worlds that we can warp to and just use for mining or gathering resources, lessening the strain of mining on our “original” world. This new world will be open to anyone and will reset differently every week or 2. Trees are easy to replace but stone and ore isn’t and eventually areas will run out. But this will result in territory and material wars, which are a basic part of the server. So I don’t know which is better a material world granting infinite materials, or a “normal” world with disputes for materials and land?

November 14, 2015 at 5:00 pm #23591Even though i like your idea i think we should handle the problem another way.
I think we should start gathering the ressources we need without destroying our surrounding or at least restoring it after we are done.
Every now and then i take some dirt and saplings with me and take care of the surrounding of my bases.
Let’s try to make it better ourselves before we go crying to gods for help. 😉November 14, 2015 at 5:05 pm #23593That would destroy the economy and i dont think it is necessary

Trees are easily replaceable and what you do is the right thing, unfortunately new people to the game and even vets don’t have much of f regard for our society.

In the short run it isn’t but overall eventually we will run out of resources. But you do have a point that it would ruin the economy, but stone farming is destructive, people would rather silk touch pure stone than having a “greener” cobble generator because silk touching takes less time and is more profitable. Really i dunno, its really up to God, mods, and admins to decide if it is necessary.

November 14, 2015 at 5:21 pm #23599its still not needed there are enough places to go mining to and imagine how that world would look like if everyone thinks ‘oh i need some more stone/dirt lets go there’ ..
And if theres rly a big area thats not used anymore and contains a big hole im sure admins could regenerate these chunks easily so there is rly no need for a mining world

It wont be worth it going there to just mine like 64 dirt but for people who are building bases (InventorJohn) they need stacks upon stacks of stone, i mean the basement of our crew vault is a huge block that has been mined out just for this new project.

November 14, 2015 at 5:46 pm #23603I don’t like the idea of this, we do periodically regenerate areas of land, in a perfect world we would have the entire world that isnt claimed by claims regenerate every few months to clean everything up, but at present this isn’t possible.

November 15, 2015 at 8:24 pm #23645Ethan, I know your saying there is a lack of resources.
But I know this isn’t the best idea but why don’t you get a submarine & scour the bottom of the sea for underwater caves & get materials from that?

It’s not easy getting a sub and EVENTUALLY we will run out, or the world will be too scarred to mine in. But, OK good idea.Criticism is Advice, I Bring Criticism (You Can Quote Me On This)

Did you read what Gods said?
He said he regenerates parts of the world, that also means caves & mines.
So he can still get the resources back.
& yes the majority of the world’s resources cannot be brought back but that’s why it’s so huge! if you go on the map, there are still very undeveloped areas which could hold untold riches beneath them, you’ll only find them if you look.
Also my idea might not have been the best but the number of underwater caves I can see from the surface is overwhelming, take a trip down one & who knows, you might have a diamond kit from that single visit.
November 16, 2015 at 8:45 pm #23688Ok I get it.
