    Were not even ready for 1.13 and there’s these changes coming!

    The two biggest updates  from my perspective are:

    • The scripting API
    • Custom mobs, this is massive, We will finally be able to create Kraken mobs, Mermaids etc. I would love for people to make these custom for the server 🙂

    Well, if you can make custom mobs, surely you can change the aesthetics of certain players also?

    For people who role play and what not, I’m sure they’d love some little pointy ears.

    Be interesting to have a sort of “boss” in each MAJOR sea, which depending on what it is, require certain quests and whatnot which are available only on certain days of the week. It might involve visiting certain builds, which may or may not have the quest item or may contain the same one as another one, or have a sort of gauntlet instead of a boss hidden in the sea.

    IDK, there is just tonnes of things to do, hopefully some of these zones as well can require players to work together, and that all get rewarded equally, which’ll hopefully extinguish toxicity.

    I just hope the Pandas also know Kung fu.

    Multishot Crossbow and Data Driven Spawning (Scripting API) would be my two favorites 🙂

    Pillagers sound interesting too!
    So we could have bands of pillagers roaming piratemc ? … I mean besides the Shreks ? … jk

    This idea I think sounds pretty fun to be honest.  Although I don’t know the viability of the custom editing of aesthetics of most players.

    As for the custom mobs, this is why I was wanting to reply.  The idea of having a custom deep sea boss in each major sea I think would add a lot of new strategy and fun to the server.  Now there is the issue of making sure these bosses don’t just swim through the canals and into the other seas, but if we can fix what sea they stay in via some funky commands….this could work.

    We will need however a list of all major seas, something that the wiki doesn’t seems to have at the moment.  I’m going to start a page to try and compile a list of all major seas on the wiki but I might need some help finding them, and naming those who do not have names yet.

    I did try to start to compile each area’s major sea on the wiki, which you can find from the North, East, South and West wiki pages.

    Naming them is however partly a problem as people will begin to complain etc about certain names and claiming it to be called so and so. I do believe however to start compiling and denoting basic names for each zone in the sea a necessity, which I started.

    I would love to talk more about this, make sure you add me on discord and we can start to look at perhaps compiling a basic “naming” of the seas/oceans and split them into said zones, such as Northern or into segements dominated by certain crews depending on the sea’s history e.g. North sea’s East end is notoriously British, however it has had a many different influences from many different crews so cannot be solely named “British”.
