Another good idea would be to basically offer a public facility to new players only. A building with some sort of grinder, a melon farm for food and maybe even a farmer or two.
I think that rather than individually helping them, we should just do it as a mass. No need for expensive material and whatnot, just some basic stuff that they can “leech” of off for a few days. All you would need is a good place, and some volunteers to build the place (I would be willing!).
Getting to the place wouldnt be too hard of a task, just build it near a warp!
