Reason: “12:23:45am KassIsShort command /a time to ddos the server again”

Salutations PirateCraft Staff and Community.

I would like to apologise for mocking about the server’s crashing during a stressful time for the server staff. I was not aware joking about ddosing the server would cause me to get permanently banned from the server and I take full responsibility for my actions.

I have been a long term member of the community for a few years now with a 35 day playtime. During my time on the server, I have racked up 12 punishments. 10 of them being spam/chat related, 1 for name impersonation and my latest one by Ae0n.

The latest punishment came to great shock to me as I had learnt my lesson from last year and was grateful for being on a good streak for behaving. I have never and never will, wished malicious action against the server nor have I attempted to attack the server physically.

I understand this appeal is very recent and I am hoping to receive a chance to redeem myself. I am not asking for a complete removal of my punishment, I’ll be happy to receive a shorter ban time or as you deem fit.

Not joking about attacks on the server has always been a thing, and being, a long-term player, I’m sure you were aware of this fact. Given the recent attacks on the server and the timing of your “jokes”, I see no jest associated with your comments.

I put a single one of the times you spoke about an attack on the server into the reason for the ban, as my space is limited. However, this was, in fact, not a one-time occurrence. I do not believe that someone stating this five times in a matter of days means no ill-will towards the server. You will stay banned at this time.

Good evening,

although I was banned I’m pretty sure I know some things regarding “joking” about such stuff. First of all such a rule never existed at its own. You may say that it falls under the common sense category and I understand you there, although the punishment for those rules should, was and will remain a verbal warning. Second, I’m more than 100% sure that anybody without the brains of a chipmunk would never flex how he ddosed the server in any of in game chats, considering how heavily supervised those are.

That’s my opinion about this reply.
