Maybe have “ruined” books in frequented places, I.E. missing letters or pages. Put all the books together and you have the story, maybe a prize to someone who collects them all?

if its alright by you, i might actually turn this in to a webcomic, ive be wanting to write up a comic for pirate craft for so long, just so i can revive my old website again.

and the thing about tater books that lead to a treasure, thats already happening look up a post called one piece.

This is awesome its nice to see somebody make something like this good job.
