PIRATES
Some of you call yourself pirates but your actually not acting no where close to a real pirate or even a pirate crew. See the empires recently had there share of critisims but what about you pesky pirates who call yourself that word when your not.

Only person recently I have seen to be a strive as a pirate is Browe_. He has opened a pirate crew and has sailed the seas fighting the British and Elven naval forces as pirates should! See if you all claim you want a change take a look at what your doing you pirates.

Crews id like to see more of is:

Davy Jones

Blackbeard

Castal’leon

Pirates of the Caribbean

Sea Raiders

Stuff like this is KEY to making everything run better. From how I see how you pirates act most of you don’t even do half the stuff a pirate should do. How about making ships and attacking people, how about raiding people a lot and bring up the fun again. The Empires are here to be a reaction force from what the pirates do. Its not just me who notcies this.

From this point I will set a pirate crew top list. Meaning whatever crew is doing the most pvp, and action in the realm will get major recognition for trying! So that’s what I have to say to that.
NATIONS
I agree what Bislo said. The EE and BE are mainly the 2 nations that deserve the title empire, not because of numbers but because of the history, and things they have been through and at the end of the day they are still there willing to do whatever it takes to keep the pirates at bay.

Here is how I see nations from this point on
- Settlement
- Kingdom
- Realm
- Empire
Some people are right we all need to work on things rather than point fingers bluntly at the nations itself when pirates have a ton to work on themselves. Still us nations will do what we do best, fight crime and build up but pirates are needed to keep the balance. In order for that to happen some MUST ACTUALLY act like pirates and have pirate crews and a pirate code and a pirate lord…. none of the pirates are doing any of that and there is no excuse for it if us nations can make numerous organizations and keep it going healthy.

So that’s what I have to say, lets all get in check and fix what is being noticed by not just me myself but by many in the community and trust me I have played for 2 years I have seen more of the people here get more interested in greed they don’t even want to pvp.

Or that fact that we have “pirate crews” that host all the major pvpers to fight everyone, why not split those pvpers up and fight themselves. Pirates can fight other pirates ya know?

Anyways im done. All I had to say but overall lets understand we need to act NOW if we even want to think of a fun future.

1) you want something done, do it yourself. 2) it’s easy to ask others to fight to change the status quo. some people may even fight in order to keep the status quo. 3) people are gonna play how they like, dont try to change that (without having a better form of government to replace it with). and 4) *your* criteria is entirely arbitrary. the way you see nations is just that, the way YOU see nations (that goes for everyone).

This Is Anarchy. who said we need to follow ANYONE’s rules? you guys are in the stone-age. you have the physical strength, but are only wandering barbarians. there is very little organization, and limited knowledge of government. you people use words like “empire” “alliance” “pirate” etc without knowing the meaning. what’s worse is that folks expect others to conform to their definitions ideas without thinking/questioning. i’m not here to argue with you Reptaria, i admire what you and EE have done. however, i’m not sure what you and the other so called empire expect of us. look at #3 above. you guys have the power/influence. what have you done with it? i’ve been here over a year. i’ve seen you attempt some kinds of organization, but to what effect? here’s what i see: you guys are taking complicated terms & ideas and trying to apply them on this server. first, very few people have knowledge or training in government/warfare. second, there are psychological variables, like age and nationality, etc… i am more than willing to help & discuss politics/govt/statecraft and how it could be applied, even exploited on a server such as this. it’s all message board cheerleading otherwise.

Let me correct you on a few things sir.

FIRST, this isn’t rules. I never said these were rules and that’s why people should read everything I say before posting a long rant.

Second, You ask what have the EE done? Well I can give you 9 pages on what we have done but I’ll sum it up, we helped fight for people who can’t fight for themselves and we have helped keep the LoN in tact. Keeping nations in line from chaos and more.

No one is “board cheerleaders” this is to actually submit a change. So you implied I ruined my time making this when your wrong because I do BELIVE this could submit a major change.

Uni has always had a major grudge against me and not going into details always explaining his negative attitude.

but if you don’t mind me asking, what have you done? Or anything at that.

whoa. look at you, getting all defensive. i said i didnt want to argue. and i said i admire the things you & EE have done. however (aside from *your multiple ~~spelling~~ *grammatical errors) i wouldn’t dare completely criticize. you have built what some call an “empire”. and you have done much charitable work. and i am not here to argue the merits of the “LoN”. i am saying *your criteria are arbitrary, but that we can work together to build a more organized government. a New World Order, if you will…

i am criticizing the system, not just you rep. you want to be a political figure on this server, you gotta deal with the tough questions. i have not the power or influence, i have my skills and knowledge. i am not a leader of an “empire” , just a simple kingdom i try to expand. is see this thread as “cheerleading”. what do you expect of us? to do the work for you? to start a war for you? to start drama? i am saying effective leadership/government is lacking. either let server politics run its course or take action yourself. i agree there is a problem with the “spider-web” of alliances. like i said in another thread, there are 100 crews (or 90 micro-states). i speculate that the inactive crews will disappear in the future, and that without effective leadership/organization, this is how it will remain, unless we can incorporate all nations & economies. or until a new pirate crew disrupts the status quo again…

Fun fact I’ve encountered many people and asked them to join this server and about 6 out of 40 of them replied with “Ah I’ve been on there, I joined an empire elves or something and after i got invited the leader Tpaed to us and slaughtered us and kicked us” I don’t believe killing deckhands and tricking them counts, but i will give you credit for helping some 😛

I didn’t want a salt war to enrage I was simply saying pirates should work on themselves as well as nations.

Overall im not trying to dictate anything just simply set a standard. Hemp it seemed as if you said I did notning but after talking to you in game it’s settled out.

Java I don’t feel bad for Secon but yes I did some shady choices which I told people to forgive me many times so I have no burden on the past.

You forgot a true pirate , with his crew AppleJK , there is a difference between pirates and raiders.

He goes with his ship and find the the freedom.

Tbh, I just find this interesting.

Seeing the views of other people. I often understand people better when I read what they mean and when they describe their view. Much like a Point, evidence, explain and link task.

I don’t believe this reaction is at all right against Rep, but then again. These are just the other views of people who could put them into simple words.

The only question I ask is; what do you class the IE?

I guess not an empire, but neither a settlement. Perhaps something between? I don’t think so much as a Realm, but neither so much a kingdom? We have many settlements, but none of which are fully or ever complete?

These are just questions, views and points.

My two cents:

I totally can agree with this, there is a lack of pirating and most that is done these days is followed by endless bickering cause it happened. Main concern though, is people need to know the difference between raiding and razing. One is fun and part of the server theme, one is just cruel, unnecessary and would make people want to quit. XD There are some that think the latter is alright…

I don’t find Reptaria suitable to create “guidelines”. There should be more of a collective and I think Java needs to be involved just to counter/alter them. Even if there was, Rep stops listening to her own rules after like 4 months. Remember her other Guidelines how <b>EMPIRE WAS 50 PEOPLE PLUS?</b> Well, now EE’s an Empire with like 34 people or something. If you stuck to your own guideline wouldn’t you be regarded at the same level Elite was? I’m sorry Reptaria, but I don’t see you fitting to make any guidelines on this server <b>alone.</b> I don’t find your rules fitting considering you’ll forget about them in the next couple of weeks or so.
