Hi everyone.
I was planning on leaving for a lot longer than my extensive ten-day absence, but I decided against it. If you saw my post, it was probably apparent that I was disillusioned with PirateCraft at the time.
(If you didn’t see my post, I wouldn’t go looking for it. You didn’t miss much.)
In the last couple months, I’ve had some friends in some pretty strong crews that invited me to join them. I decided to try to be some kind of Jusa-type player that went around killing everyone to gain their approval and live up to crew standards. I changed my name, dusted off some of my event swords and raided anyone I could. The only problem with that is my PvP skills are… less than decent, and people like Galaxy and Flea knew this, and would jump me whenever I raided anyone. This made me pretty frustrated, because I was losing far more than I was gaining.
To Galaxy and Flea (and whoever else consistently jumped me), I want to apologize. You were doing the same thing I was, and I shouldn’t have been salty about it. Hopefully we can start anew.
That being said, I’m going to be hanging up my god boots and putting my tricked-out weapons away (what few I still have) for a while. Fighting really isn’t my thing; I just didn’t really see that and I was just frustrating myself. PirateCraft, like Minecraft in general, still has a lot of fun in it – I just couldn’t really see it when focused on the bloodlust of fighting.
I’m planning on starting my own (noob) crew someday, but that won’t be for a while. I won’t be aligned with any crews for some time. Instead, I want to spend some time by myself to try something new I can now do, thanks to a beefier machine: photography. At the end of this post, I attached a link to a gallery of some of the pictures I took in the last two days.
