July 22, 2022 at 11:14 am #81233I do not know if this can work with reducing latency but the CurseForge add-on called “Fabulously Optimized” has an option to disable item frames, and much more (check attachement) to reduce possible lag.

July 25, 2022 at 3:15 am #81251I have been through that phase, but luckily there is a detailed guide for installation of Fabulously Optimized!

So basically there is option for two launchers, one is Curse forge (by Overwold) and second is MultiMC.
MultiMC has auto updates and is much faster than curseforge, whereas curseforge has a much simpler interface but launch is a little slower compared to multimc since cs uses vanilla client, So choose wisely!
Dm me on discord if you still need help with anything 🙂

July 27, 2022 at 5:01 am #81268I’m sorry to hear that you’re facing problem awesomecow, but if you scroll down a little in the installation guide, there is a title “Minecraft Lancher (Vanilla)” which is dedicated guide for Linus and MacOS users, follow the instructions then you’ll be able to play via Fabulously Optimized, Hope this helps
