Ok so ive seen all the posts on both threads and heres the deal.

Forge does in fact use 5 mods/sub mods to run. This is true. The problem is forge is not allowed. The reason is forge can be used to load other mods that would give an unfair advantage in game and could not be controlled in any way by staff. For this reason it falls in the same category as a hacked client.

Yes the two things are different one is made to cheat and one is made for game enhancement but both can be used to cheat and give an unfair advantage on a multiplayer server. Therefore banned.

If you are having trouble with installing and running optifine (which is allowed on this server) that is something that would need to be sorted out on your computer, launcher, java, or OS. The reality is optifine can and does run without the use of Forge. You can find on the different minecraft forums out there solutions to this problem or call a friend to help figure it out but it can be done.

Now heres the most important part of all this, You were not banned for the use of Forge. You were not banned for xraying. You were banned for not following staffs instructions after triggering the xray detector.

Not following staffs instructions is a bannable offence as it shows the player either is being disrespectful of a staff member or trying to hide their transgression when they have been caught. If it was a legit misunderstanding it can get sorted out most of the time but not by blowing up the forums. But instead making a single humble post in the appropriate thread and possibly PM the staff the conflict is with and then waiting for a response. I know it is hard to be patient when you feel wrongly accused but it is the only way.

It will be sorted at some point. I was not involved so I cant make the decision one way or the other but it wont help your case to continue to make posts and argue with other players in the forums.
