Hello,
I have been wondering if there is any other good ways to get claimblocks besides playing time and money. I have recently been building a town and constantly come across the problem of running out of claimblocks and having to wait around and do random stuff until I got enough claimblocks to continue on finishing my town. I also don’t have enough money to buy any major amount of claimblocks to complete my town. I have it around halfway finished but like it just has been getting slower and slower to complete because of the rate I get claimblocks. I have found out that the Build of the Month things do give off prizes of claimblocks sometimes but of course that only comes around a few times a year and low chances of winning probably. I would really like if there was another good way to get lots of claimblocks fast.
Thanks!

Keep you'r friends rich
and you'r enemies rich
and wait to find out which is which.October 26, 2017 at 11:00 am #541674 Main ways of getting claimblocks:
- Playtime – You get 60 every hour, plus 100 you started off with
- Money – /buyclaimblocks gets you 1 claimblock for $1. /sellclaimblocks gets you only $0.6 per claimblock
- Donating as Kirn said – There is currently 15% off in the shop when you use the code spookysails
- Winning BoTM prizes
If you’re having trouble claiming your whole area, here as some tips:
- Claim only important things – If you have sections of your base that don’t have any buildings in them, don’t claim them (or make two separate claims). Claim only what you are building, and avoid claiming in advance – as you’ll forget that you made the claims
- Avoid deleting claims, as you will lose 10% of the claimblocks within that claim.
- If you want to remove a large claim, make it very small first (9×9), then delete it to avoid losing lots of claimblocks
- Avoid claiming things for other people – its a bad habit for me, and you save yourself a lot of claimblocks
- Don’t claim random stuff you find lying around. Found a nice build somewhere? Think; is it close enough to my base (so that it doesn’t require another sethome), is it in a good condition, and do I really need it. If the answer to any of those is no, sell it for a couple of bucks, or make a forum post, don’t waste claimblocks
- /claimslist – tells you the coordinates of all of your claims. If you see a random claim somewhere that you forgot about, delete it
- Good way of making money; Sell and build ships for others, or sell grinders

@XeronNovember 2, 2017 at 10:31 am #54281To get started, you could grow trees, sell the wood at the cove and buy claimblocks, you won’t get much as a stack is £6 which is 6 claim blocks. Easy enough to work out for how much space you are looking for then. Need 100 claimblocks that’s 6400 logs you gotta chop =D Since some rank-up requirements require log chopping to rank up, you could use that period to rank up to also sell Log blocks to the cove and buy yourself some claims.
Its also worth taking a look at /warp shops to see if anyone is buying anything.
