I logged in today to a death screen to find a had been killed a robbed. After asking I was told even though my land was protected i needed blocks on top to protect my chests. So that is fine lesson learned by the pain of primarily 3 saddles and all my music disks. but what I can’t figure out is how i died. I had played on the server earlier in the day. My second log in of the day my minecraft immediately crashed on entering the server. I didn’t think anything of it and decided it was time for a break anyways, but upon logging in the third time I was shown the death screen.

I realize stealing is allowed and it was my own ignorance not covering chests, and I also recognize this is a pvp server. But I have one question. How on earth did I die. I don’t know if there are some server logs that could be checked or something, but when i asked on the server I found out who had killed me, bejanteen, but he would not explain the circumstances.

This is a very low priority request that i realize may not be answered. Just my curiosity and a little frustration.
