I went back to work TODAY, in typical fashion our amazing host decided to play “lets screw over GodsDead today while he’s at work with no internet connection and a dead phone battery”.
Well guess what! I got alerted by an email (30 seconds of phone battery time) saying I had a message the claims were down, absolutely fantastic.
I can imagine the main targets were Iamthereaper89, Skymanjay & Coughing_Dogs shops.
Now usually when the claims go down theres a reason, 99% of the time its because their server has crashed or broke or suspended me for no reason whatsoever.
Today, None of these things happened, which means I can’t track how, when or why this happened.
So im going entirely on what players know.
The really weird thing is, that there were about 40/50 claims that were alive and woking, the rest were not showing (Going by map, because at work) and as soon as I whitelisted, kicked everyone and rebooted the server the rest showed up?I will reward information given to help me out, I can compare information given to me towards the log.
I need to know, when claims were noticed to have gone down (In GMT)
I need to know the damage caused/Items stolen from shops.
Who’s responsible for raiding during the claim outage.Im 85% tempted to roll back the world to last nights backup save at 00:01 GMT, then any damage/raiding would be restored.
Should we roll-back to be safe? yes/no.
I know this is tiresome, it shouldn’t happen and it winds nobody more up than me.

September 2, 2014 at 5:45 pm #4522I think I sent you in-game mail telling the time claims went down, it wasn’t long after a restart. Shops were kept safe, and no looting there. No-one raided or looted, though a few were talking about it. An that’s it really. I sent a few in-game messages/ mail to you, and that’s it.
September 2, 2014 at 5:50 pm #4523How long do you think it was down? have you been on most of today? I cant see much damage, A reply from my hosting said they were doing maintenance upgrades & updates that could have knocked out out.
After getting on the server after work, Im all the way down to 40% on a rollback now.
If we decide not to rollback, then all people that were on protecting the server at the time will be rewarded for their amazing behavour protecting the world. I Will be checking out the logs in detail too.
September 2, 2014 at 6:03 pm #4524I was on for most of the day (8 till whitelist), and I was easily an hour outside guarding reapers shop. There is no damage that im aware of, the only problem I can see is a few people claimed land before I warned them, and may have lost the claimblocks, since those ones have gone now. It wasn’t that much of an emergency really, everybody acted superbly, and there was very little problem. Although reaper will have to go round his shop and remove the wooden blocks- we used them as barriers, as I was afraid of claiming his shop. Maybe, 1:30 2hrs claims gone? Also, only a certain portion of claims were gone, as many players said there’s was fine, and skymanjays shop was okay.
September 2, 2014 at 8:11 pm #4525Just checking can anyone else not connect to the server right now? I got kicked off last night and haven’t been able to get on at all i just keep getting error:unknown host.
September 2, 2014 at 8:55 pm #4526Not really related at all @Genovakid56 / Joe. But I presume its because minecraft updated to 1.8 last night/today and we are running 1.7.9.
You can see the online players on the right under server status right now.
Another option would be to change your DNS to Googles dns and see if that works? Please give me feedback if this changes anything.

September 2, 2014 at 9:02 pm #4528Rollback will not happen.
The two votes for Yes were people that are having issues conencting due to upgrading to minecraft 1.8, nothing to do with this issue at all.
