Welcome to 1.11.2 Properly!

My jebus what an absolute nightmare to get here! Blood sweat and tears upgrading our old backbone plugins, should be faster from here on out, sorry about the long wait.

• Upgraded to 1.11.2 fully, you won’t be able to use 1.10 clients now.
• We have custom death messages now, request a death message: https://piratemc.com/topic/submit-custom-death-messages-post-your-ideas/
• Fixed sailor kit giving block that does not exist
• spawnkit has more food (16 fish)
• Fixed deckhands not having a message over their head
• Chat now filters “Lag” and “ez” spam.
• Replaced the /msg and /r message system with a completely new one, it should act and look the same as the existing one, the main difference is we can now have hover over messages and clickable messages! So now you can click a /msg to you and itll auto fill in the chat with /msg <playername> this should solve issues with multiple people msging you at once, as you can click what one you want to reply to from chat 🙂
• Updated the live map texture pack to be 1.11.2 (Should take effect next reboot)
• I updated 18 plugins so things could break, they have been tested loosely on the test server, but its not been up long, report issues in this thread.
• Worledit is fully broken (wahhhh) So no worldedit tasks for a while (regen etc..)
• The anti cheat plugin currently thinks your a hacker if you fly an elytra with fireworks.. pending review on what threshold to set that to.

Its 2:18am so I’m getting this quick change-log out so you all know, Ill do a full blog post tomorrow! So report any bugs/issues in this thread so we can keep track easily.

Unrelated stuck rank note

Unrelated but I figured out a quick way to fix anyone stuck ranking up (If it dousnt show your stats in /rank for what you need to do) If you are stuck and its telling you to pick a path, then its a 1 command job to fix!

Whats the plan for totem of undying?

Its too op, at present nothing has changed with it, but in the future we want to find a new use for it, we could fully re-purpose it for anything.

The explorer map shows no X or anything?

Future? I want to re-purpose the treasure maps, were a pirate server after all! I’m sure we can find a much much better use for them! (Bonus points if we can make them show a point on the map for treasure hunts!)
