- Added Manoeuvre Tool (gold hoe) to spawnkit to allow un-sticking the test spawn ship.
- Updated the /kit bible, when we moved to 1.11.2 the name broke, bug report submitted, for now its just “Bible”, I updated a few pages, added a ton more commands to it.
I actually have the Bible file on github if anyone wants to help amend it, its painstaking to get the formatting right. - Added a sign to spawn for to auto open up links to getting started guide
- Allowed /trapped in admin claims, not sure why this was disabled.
- Added /warp spawn temporarily for everyone, as we have a…
- NEW SPAWN!
New Spawn Ship
The spawn ship was showing its age, Built 3 years ago by yours truly based on a schematic I found online, its been everyone’s entrance to PirateCraft. The spawn ship has always had a place in my heart, as it was part of PirateCraft V1 too (At our old cove) The story goes, we sailed from V1 of PirateCraft to PirateCraft v2, where it was shipwrecked!
It was time to say goodbye to the spawn ship, and welcome in a new one, a better one, one that looks amazing.
The entire spawn ship was created by Maximus_Terragon, and he’s done an amazing job, Max has managed to keep the similar size and roughly the same type of design (Pirate skull on the sails!)
Theres a lot of groundwork that needs to be completed on the ship, mostly sign placement, but the ships in! so go take a look yourself /warp spawn.

Quick question Max: Did you get inspiration from the flying dutchman?

Horatio NelsonMay 1, 2017 at 10:55 am #49602I don’t know if this is intended or not, but I figured I should make sure you know about it:
- Doors can not be opened at spawn. I’ve tried it at /warp info and you can’t get inside or outside from there;
- Levers can’t be used, so the spawn border gate is not openable.
Hope it helps!
May 1, 2017 at 11:15 am #49603also @maximus_terragon what shaders did you use and can you give me a link to them?

No, I did it free hand. The Flying Dutchman is a much slimmer and taller ship, quite a different design and layout. This one is much wider, has an additional gun deck submerged beneath the water, and has a completely different gallery.

That’s because people kept opening and closing all of the trapdoors that were intended for decoration. I will open the doors for you, if they haven’t been opened already – it was just to stop people messing with things they shouldn’t be messing with.
also @maximus_terragon what shaders did you use and can you give me a link to them?
The photos used were courtesy of Simbad_Tiger. You’ll have to ask him about the shaders. As a side note, I use Sildurs Vibrant Shaders v1.161 High.

No, I did it free hand. The Flying Dutchman is a much slimmer and taller ship, quite a different design and layout. This one is much wider, has an additional gun deck submerged beneath the water, and has a completely different gallery. Its completely made up.

@XeronMay 1, 2017 at 12:33 pm #49611@maximus well done! Nice ship!
I only ask for novelty and ‘monument’ reasons that does the old ship still remain in PirateCraft? Just as a legacy and something to search out?
Also does that ‘secret’ Dungeon still exist around the old ship and would a new one be built? Or have I been believing in cods wallop for the last year? (don’t worry, I never have gone looking for it so no time wasted if it doesn’t exist)

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the old ship is currently located at the staff island. I’m sure we can find a more accessible place for it somewhere in the future, maybe in a drydock somewhere?
Who knows, but I like the idea of collecting/displaying a few novelty items as a sort of museum. That’s not up to me though.
