After all this business with crews recently, we had to do some research to see what happens if someone registers a crew tag name from an existing crew that was abandoned to see if the statistics get transferred to the new crew. We found out that the crew statistics for kills is generated based on the members in that crew, so if a player with a high kill-count changes crews those stats get reflected on the crew they moved to. While testing this we noticed that you couldn’t actually register a new crew with a 2 character tag like you should be able to, it was set in the configs as a minimum of 2 characters for a tag, but It must be set as MORE than 2 instead of 2 or more, so I reduced this to 1 to allow 2 character crew tags to be created as intended. The reason we have crews that has 2 characters was because these go migrated from our old crew system a long time ago, so these didn’t have to go through the verification. Strange what issues you find troubleshooting something completely irrelevant.
Existing crew tags cant & won’t be changed to 2 character tags, this will be for new crews created only.

When you create a crew, you set its tag, a shorthand for the crew name, for example BE = British Empire, BE is the tag, British Empire is the name of the crew.
The minimum length a tag can be is 2 charactors, so you would not be allowed the tag “A” for example as this is one character. The issue was, that tag length has been set at a minimum of 3 characters when it should have been at 2 because of bad wording in the plugin configs which states “min-length” which you would assume would be, minimum length = 2, as you want the minimum length of the tags to be 2 charactors, but its not this at all, its actually a greater than this number, so I have to set it to 1 so then 2 is the minimum.
Nobody reported this was an issue, and I found out today when i was testing another part of the crew plugin.
I hope that makes sense.
