Okay so mining (especially if you play UHC and know how to mine effectively and efficiently) is fairly profitable, however I mostly see me using my resources and not selling them. Mining logs seems profitable and might be the most effective and fastest way to make money because a stack does not take long to get with maxed tools if you have a tree farm (which I have) and they sell for $7 a stack. I am currently having problems with food (and money) and was wondering what the best farm to make would be? Maybe wheat? Idk, you tell me. Also any other good ways to make money?

You can definitely not use a farm to farm money. If people have automated tree farms those signs at cove will be made deckhand only.

11 by 11 room or space.

Place water in the middle.

Then within that 11 by 11 space, have dirt with and till it.

Then put potatoes on it.

There you have a quick potato farm and it will allow you to produce potatoes which are a good source of food quickly, just remember the lighting.

Building farms if your renting a shop to sell stuff is fine. Godsy is talking about using an auto tree farm with the intent to make infinite money using the sell logs signs at cove. Those are meant to help people when their starting out to make a few dollars to buy supplies.

What about NOT using auto tree farms but Using a God Axe to cut trees? Labor better than non labor right?

yeah thats fine, I did forget to mention the signs at cove specifically, its an infinite supply of money, where as players are limited. If its possible to create an automated machine to farm logs, then I’ll have to shut it down, it never used to be possible.

Theres no such thing as a fully automatic one, the machine does make it easier though. All it does is dispense bonemeal rapidly. You plant a sapling in front of the dispenser, and pistons are timed to push the grown tree’s wood into neat rows, which you can then cut.
