I tbh, support both things.
Pirates add that little bit of excitement and drama to the server, but Empires are those who add to the economy, fight, are friendly and tend to be good at getting rid of those who don’t play fairly.
I know I haven’t said much about Pirates, but I still think them to be a crucial part. It is true, I hardly see as many pirate crews as there used to, either they are incredibly small and pretty sophisticated and tend to pick on other crews but often in the most annoying and clever ways. Or they are usually a mass of Pvpers who are united only just, who are so big in numbers and groups of them tend to attack other crews pretty ruthlessly.
Tbh, I couldn’t really differentiate and I can’t remember as many examples (sorry if I leave you out, I’m writing this quickly).
Hydra for example, I believe is a small crew, but stick closely to the pirate sort of theme but are quite effective.
CoV is another sort of example, they are often a huge crews but don’t stick as closely.
tbh, I dunno where this is going. But I believe that the reason not so many wars are fought, and empires don’t seem to attack pirate crews as much, is because we are often scared of them. I for one have tried my hardest to be the nicest, positive person around on the server.
Which more often than not, is what we are all trying to do (well my crew in particular).
I don’t mean to upset or annoy people. But I feel the situation is perfect, and I’m sorry if I have contradicted myself or repeated, but I have just tried to get my thoughts, agreements and objections down. 🙂
