Alright, so first thing first. I was banned for use of a hacking client. MCShovel tried to guide me through how to send my F3 through Skype, forums, and imgur, but I am a noob at forums and imjur so I couldn’t figure it out, and I couldn’t find smokey on Skype. My Skype is knightofdoom2002 if I could submit my F3 to one of the staff there.

I have played Piratecraft for several months now, and I discovered how to download a hacked client recently. I have used it on private servers, but have never turned on any mods on Piratecraft, since I knew it would get me banned. MCShovel pulled me aside today, and asked me to be honest about my use of the client, and I was. My screenshot complication is what led to my ban, and I’d like to try and get this all sorted out. I will see if I can figure out how to post my F3 on the forums (sorry, like I said I am new to all of this.)

Why should I be unbanned? Well, I think this should have been a warning rather than a ban, because I WAS honest about it, and I have not used any mods to my advantage on Piratecraft. This is the server I have been devoted to for months, and I really don’t want to quit playing on it now. Three warnings = ban, as we all know. I have had 1 warning in the past for telling my crewmates to use a glitch to save me from someone who was /siegeing himself in his own territory to keep me trapped there. Other than that, I have been a ‘good boy’. I try my best not to abuse anything that I come across, and this ban was just because of a complicated matter. If I were to be unbanned, I would uninstall my client to prevent any misunderstandings in the future during my time on Piratecraft. I really love this server, and I’d hate for this to be an abrupt ending to all the time and dedication I have put into it, and I wasn’t even able to give my stuff to my friends.

I hope you staff recognize that I had no intentions of using my modded client for my advantage in Piratecraft, and I will NEVER have it on again (because I would uninstall it) if I were to be unbanned.

Here is the thing. Your first problem is you logged onto this server with a hacked client be it for good or bad intentions.

2nd you knew mods etc aren’t allowed here, and since there is absolutely no way of knowing you are running them while using said client then you can’t run the client.

All you had to do was use the vanilla client if you intended on never using the mods. See this also comes in leu to numerous reports of people thinking you had mods due to a change in your PVP. Also your honesty is appreciated but that does not mean you will get a lesser punishment.

I understand. I have been working on how to Strafe well recently, but I haven’t used any mods during pvp combat. But it doesn’t matter now, the boot is the boot. I would like to say a thank you to some people before I have to go forever.

There have been some players that I have loved playing with that I would like to point out.

CaptainCrackerz- A loyal friend for months, he was the one who welcomed me into the BE when I had first joined it. Since then we have become good friends and fought together many times. I am sorry I have to go now.

Lawzoneon- So sorry! I will never be able to pay those gold blocks that you wanted in exchange for the donated rank. You helped me SO much on my castle and removing the giant dune where it once was. You’ve always been there to help me when I needed it most, and i’d like to thank you for it.

michty- Best leader BE ever had. He taught me many things and I would like to thank him for that, I would never be the player I am today without his words of wisdom.

iKeto- Keep being a hobo, it’s the one think you’re good at 🙂

Shay (soda)- Thanks for teaching me the finer points of PvP, you have made me the PvPer I am today. Without your teachings I would be one of the noobs always dying in god armor.

I have to go now, so for everyone else that knows me well that I didn’t mention- Pleasure to play with you all, sorry this happened, and maybe i’ll see you around on other servers.

So either you lied or did not understand the question. Either way it seems you know you are breaking rules by your response.

This is usually cause for a permanent ban if anyone doesn’t already know this. Your later admission to using Wurst combined with the screenshot provides evidence; however, had you refused you would be banned for not following instructions.

I’m always sad to loose another player. This is the no-fun part of being an admin :/

I hope this is a lesson to anyone else who runs a modded client.

My advice KnightofDoom_, uninstall that crap, run Vanilla, and enjoy a level playing field. It is better to loose a fair fight than to win by cheating.

Am I blocked from responding? I cannot see what I am writing so I think so, but idk. What I said I didn’t use modds, what I meant by that is I did not RUN any mods. The mods were there but I did not use any of them. SSorry if my spelling is crap, like I said, I cannot see what I am typing for some reason. I think wetook the question two different ways, you meaningif I had used a client at all, and me taking it as ‘have I used any of the available mods’.
