If the server is trying to prevent me from “spamming”, how can you assume I know it means that it’s trying to prevent me from “advertising”? Of course I assume it actually is trying to prevent me from spamming, because the message says so, and I still don’t think it’s advertising when someone asks you an IP in PM, which I will explain here:

My conclusion is that if you say I advertised, that is a grammatically incorrect word to express it. I do not mean that I should be unbanned just because “advertising” is an incorrect word for this, and I accept that your punishment for this is a ban. Just saying that I followed the rules, because according to the definition of advertising, I did not advertise (persuade).

I don’t know how you would deny this “advertising” in a rule, but that is your job to make up. What I did was not against the rules. Rule #6 does not deny this.
