@godsdead here’s an issue I found a while back, but I’ve been too lazy to report, I accidentally did this ONCE and didn’t report it, idk why, lapse of judgment.

So, artificial demon and I were god fighting, and because I suck at everything I was losing dramatically, anyway I was taking off my armor so I could die quicker and so it doesn’t bust, and because I’m an idiot I thought I’d get my stuff back at ae0’s after attacking someone (genius) anyway, I was down to no armor, then just as artificialdemon did the finishing blow I picked up my chestplate and put it in my inventory.

After when I respawned I still had the chestplate and artificial demon didn’t. He let me keep it, anyway, sorry for the late report.

was it in a siege? cause that was a problem before

That sounds like you were moving an item teh instant you died, and minecraft just needed to catch up, this doesn’t sound like a server error, just minecraft in general.

it sounds like it can be abused tho

Throwing an item on the ground hoping you can grab it again at the split second you are killed instead of it being picked up by the attacker? Cant see the point in even attempting that.

no, I picked it up in the inventory part and placed it down just as I was about to die.

So how do we reproduce this? The only way to “fix” anything is to first find a way to reproduce it, so a developer can copy it and then they can make a fix, PM me so its not public once you have a 100% way to reproduce this bug.

I’m not iOdiwan but I’d be happy to try this in order for a fix, fair gameplay is the always the way.
