Letsquirrel Banned.

Hello i’m Letsquirrel. I’m the alt of joeygamingfilms who was banned about 13 months ago on this server. a year later i got another minecraft account and decided i’d play on the server. I told Godsdead that i was an alt of a banned player letting him decide whether to ban me or let me stay since it has been over a year. he told me that im aloud to stay on the server. since then i have been asked by a few staff members about being an alt and i explained this. Today i accidentally logged into my other account instead of letsquirrel and tried logging on the server, no big deal ill just change back to the account. But i was banned. i assume because a staff member saw that i was an alt of a banned player. But in full honesty i fessed up that i was an alt to godsdead almost a month ago and he allowed me to stay on the server. I have not broken rules i’ve just played. Can i please be unbanned this was a misunderstanding. Thank you for reading Letsquirrel (joey) PS I hope this didn’t effect my shop, base or crew because i’ve put a lot of work into that :/

I believe that it leaves a message in console when a banned player tries to connect, Mas. It also warns when a banned player shares the same IP as an existing player. Might be wrong about that, though.

Yes, if a banned player attempts to join I believe it says the name and that they’re banned and trying to join.

I wish this hadn’t happened :/ since I donated a most 2 months ago and ive already lost a few days of my captain rank and how ever much longer this takes is more time I lose off my donation rank /; not to meantion the potential claim blocks and progress i would’ve done without this happening :/ would anyone turn staff onto this thread. It isn’t a ban appeal it’s a mistake or misunderstanding not a regular ban appeal.

Um perhaps but it wasn’t an ip ban before if you recall we discussed that i was previously banned and playing with an alt and you allowed me to join again. the ban was joeygamingfilms or joeysworld (changed name since)

@godsdead This is the situation pretty much. 14 months ago or so i was banned on my main account joeysworld (since changed to joeygamingfilms) and then i got access to another account about a year later and started playing and told you that i was the alt of a banned player. letting you decide whether i can stay on here or ban me and you said i could continue to play on the server. when i was banned a year ago it was not an ip ban it was just a ban for the account joeygamingfilms or joeysworld. i accidentally was logged on to joeygamingfilms when i tried logging onto the server and i was subsequently banned for having an alt from a staff member who didnt know you allowed me to stay on the server. he gave me an ip ban on either joeygamingfilms or letsquirrel. not a player ban for letsquirrel but still makes it so i cant play at home. Can i please have the ip ban lifted and have the player ban for joeygamingfilms or joeysworld remain active so i can return to the server on my home computer. this was a huge misunderstanding.

PS i know im ip banned cause my account LetSquirrel can play on a different network but i’d like to play on my home network.

Ok so I fully understand this now.

letsquirrel a year or so ago got banned for a chargeback/alts of joeygamingfilms & romsawyer (I won the case) but created this new acccount “letsquirrel” +1 year later and came back to the server, instantly told me about this to let me know who he was and I allowed a second chance (Must have been in a good mood).

Fast forward X amount of time, he logs in with an old account and triggers the alts, online admin auto-bans as this flags as a previous banned account.

I talked to letsquirrel in-game to figure this out. Even though he used a different IP to get on to talk to me.

letsquirrel was allowed back in game, but on very thin ice! This better not be a stupid move, I regret unbanning everyone else I have in the past, But I do need to give some people second chances here and there I guess? “I’ve changed” seems to be in the vocabulary of every single banned player that tries to get unbanned.

Case closed (For now)

letsquirrel any funny business and its an instant perm ban.
