I know that this may sound really hard to do, but I am just gonna say it anyway. I wanna use soft blocks on my build, but I don’t wanna have to replace them every time. I vaguely remember that pirates dug stuff and put chests in them and hid them, so can we scatter chests all over the world?
Now anyway, soft blocks. Can we make it so after a siege has been won and the building has been looted, all the soft blocks will go back? I don’t wanna replace my blocks every time a siege happens. Also, one more thing, it would make a lot more buildings look better if they used glass instead of iron bars/fences for Windows. I went through a stage where I got Sieged everyday for 3 weeks. All I want is just a way to use “soft blocks” without getting them destroyed by siege. Missing Wooden Planks is something I cry about every night in my bed. My houses wood look much better (I used wood on purpose :P) if I used more wood. Over time in my usual survival world it’s my go-to block. All you need is just to cover the house in cats and bam! It’s creeper proof! Just remember, not all pirates had Quartz in the pirate age, they also weren’t broken into everyday.
I like whoever had the idea of living in streets with your allies, but we have all built massive homes already for which I do not intern on moving from.
sorry if this is a waste of time, just thought it would be cooler if I could have wooden planks and stuff.
(quick summary: all still breakable, they just come back to their original place once looting time is over, once broken by enemy, no block will be out for takes, it will be like mining diamonds with a stone pic axe, it breaks, but you get nothing :D)

March 16, 2016 at 7:18 am #30886Now, that’s the way it used to be; you’d siege someone, fire a few cannons, get in through the cracks, steal the loot, and be out in no time. Soft blocks would regen, etc. Now, I’m sorta mixed on this. I love building with soft blocks, just look at my manors or towns! Looks good, adds textures. But, it must have been disabled for a reason, and I must confess, all someone has to do is place sb over a chest, and whatever damage you do, it just resets. It almost makes siege a bit pointless.
March 16, 2016 at 7:29 am #30888@crazypirate1 I absolutely hate destruction, I just want to place the scaffold and change it over time when needed. I also don’t understand your chest story.

March 16, 2016 at 8:01 am #30889The chest story?
It means that someone can claim an area, build a wooden hut, place a few double chests, cover them with StoneBrick. Now, when you siege, you blow up the hut, the garden outside; it stays that way. You get no loot, but you get a message across.
If we set regen back on, you fire cannons, burn the hut down, whatever, but you can’t get into the chests, and any damage you do isn’t lasting; and so that siege is pointless and a waste of time. At the very least, the permanent destruction of soft blocks sends a message and makes siege worthwhile, to a degree.
March 16, 2016 at 8:19 am #30890Well then, I really don’t know why people just want to annoy people. What’s the point of blowing it up in the first place? At least you can get in with the soft blocks. It will make less boxes and more actual fun! Maybe we could make a ship arena and stuff but that’s off topic.

March 16, 2016 at 12:08 pm #30892This was how the old version of the plugin worked, it changed developers and he removed it as it was very resource heavy.
This will not happen.
March 16, 2016 at 8:46 pm #30913@Godsdead alright 🙂
