Reason:

We have been staring at this abomination of a Box for months and after many request to make it less ugly the only visible response we got was more boxes!
At this point it seems we are being trolled by its owner who is building more and more boxes just to make us mad.

Sj build a cylinder box base back in April and promised us he would decorate it and it wouldnt look bad.

Instead of decorating his box he build 2 more boxes right on top of the border of our planed city (our own fault we should have claimed that area and shouldnt have trusted him with the plans).

Several months later we saw no progress.. at all. The same 3 boxes after 5! months.
So I requested an ultimatum to clean up his mess. I send him the screen shot of Staff telling him to clean it up immediatly or it will be regened.

Finally he got to work and did this:

In his own words he did this in 20mins.

A week after and it was still the same he then got banned.
After he got unbanned we decided, even after all of this we would give him a few more days and instead of finaly just fixing this ugly mess he build yet ANOTHER box.

Please move his boxes away from us

In my opinion not only should it be deleted, but it should be made into an example of what not to build on this server. I hope your problem can be dealt with Elo, god bless.

Hello,

Elo I heard/saw that an admin is covering the boxes with dirt and is forming a cliff to make it look better (I guess).

You can also see it on the livemap. 09/09/2019

Lets see what happens. Thank you Elo for making this request since I am trying to talk to this player concerning his “build” for almost half a year. His actions have really led me to lose motivation.

The only question that I have is: Could this admin also fix my stuff when I need his flying abilities or when I am too lazy to fix it myself?

Just so its on forums too; SJ has been given 2 weeks to make his build less ugly. I spared a few hours today helping him fix it up, as I understand this is a pressing issue for you guys that is all. He should have it ‘fixed’ somewhat by the end of the week.

And Pash; of course, I’m sure this admin wouldn’t mind if only the player would ask them and in the right circumstances.

Its been 2 weeks, there is barely any progress, will the boxes be moved away now? Or is Maxy going to bend the rules to save his friend yet again?

Nah Elo, I’ve been busy trying to find a solution with Gods that works for both sides. Unfortunately this isn’t a simple case of black and white – if it were it would be sorted by now. SJ was given an additional extension of 1 week last Sunday (deadline was Sunday 29th), but I didn’t have time to check until tonight. We have 2 options here, one much preferred to the other; with the preferred option possibly taking a couple more days which is not in my control. If I can get that better option, great! But it may take an extra couple of days…

The second option is a backup if the first option doesn’t work out within the next 2-3 days; it would also kind of solve the problem… but its my backup solution. Take my word for it that you’ll prefer the option above, not this one. I know you want his boxes gone, but I don’t think its reasonable to go in with a sledge hammer on these things. Trying to appease both sides can take time, and I’m sorry for this taking so long – I have other things to do too.

I’ve noticed you’ve been pretty passive aggressive to me lately, there is no need for this. I’m trying my best to sort this out fairly for both people, giving me shit for ‘helping a friend’ or ‘bending the rules’ has nothing to do with it, its just immature.

Please hang on, and cut the attitude

I have read your post several times and I either cant figure out what option 1 or 2 are, or you forgot to mention it

May I know what option 1 and more importantly what option 2 is, since you used option 2 as a threat.

As for me being passive aggressive, I dont intend to be passive in any way. I made it clear to you last time in voice chat.

Option 1 is what you suggested – moving them, but at this stage that still requires Gods as I don’t have the perms. Not sure if it’ll happen as he said he doesn’t want to be moving bases anymore. Option 2 which is the fallback option is that we regen the surface of his base, that way any ugly box will be underground – Gods suggested that one and it will be what I’ll be doing if the first option doesn’t work out, not much more I can do.

If you want this done quickly I can just regen the top part of his base now, and not bother with moving em, but I figured I’d wait and see if we can get the better option that both sides would benefit the most from – Gods and I are both very busy atm though.

Nowhere have I threatened you, you’re the one behaving immaturely in this situation. If you’re gonna be hostile and disrespectful, why should we as staff waste our time with you?

Extra alternative is obviously that we leave it how it is now; I’ve had a look at what he’s done and it looks alright, I mean you can’t tell its a box. Personally, I’d be quite alright with having that near me as long as he doesn’t fuck it up.

Screenshots taken from your towers on the border to his claim – obviously he’s still got that square thing in front but I assume he’ll cover that up too or something. You wanted it less ugly, and by the looks of it he’s done that. Its miles better than what it used to be, so in my eyes that would be a satisfactory result

Edit: I’ve shown the screenshots to Gods and we both think he’s done a good job, I don’t really see much reason to regen anything at this point…

Anyway, that means option 2 is mostly off the table, I’ll wait and see how option 1 turns out as that’s still my preferred alternative obviously. I admit it took him a while, but he got his arse in gear eventually. I will inform SJ that he is not to make any more boxes or stuff like that in that area – everything is to be underground, or blended in as good as possible as to not ruin the landscape/scenery.

Thank you for your time and effort.

I see this is the kind of playerbase you guys want to have and promote. Ive waited too long and you kept me waiting for months for nothing.

My crew started the Valgardproject. It was more that just our crew. We had Lazy, Emiel, Steven and even people like Romich building and helping at some moment. We had so many people giving us materials and custom heads for this.

The concerned person got his hands on images where we drew our plans and tried to crash us since the very first minute with /tpa players to us because we decided not to let him build with us. Then he realised that his friends are shit in PvP and so he switched his plan into building boxes knowing that it would bother us.

Yet he calls me out for harassement.

Our claim is months other than his claim. Yet you allow him to stay there even when we reported this issue on the very first week. You let him continue and made him think that he is right. You have extended the deadling again and again and I have been quiet and patient. You dont even understand the problem. Its not the fact that its a box.

Dont you think I knew that you would come in the end with the argument “oh now it looks fine case closed”?

Imagine what would have happened if I started to build a box next to Port Royal. I am sure that I would not have gotten 6 month to fix it. I would have gotten my claim deleted in seconds followed by some kind of extra punishement.

We never allowed him to build such a structure there. We have the proof of the conversations. He promised an “epic tower” which would fit in the environment. Not a dirthut with his bunker underneath.

Dont you realise that he could have gone EVERYWHERE else on the map and there wouldnt have been any complain from my side or from someone else. Why did he chose to build boxes right next to my city that had the potential to be something big? Why dont you think for like 30 seconds about that.

Yet you completely ignore every proof we have.

Yet I am harassing people.

Plus there is a more or less official rule saying boxes arent allowed ON TOP of that. I dont even know if its official and you dont know neither.

He literally breaks 3 out of 4 building rules. BUILDING AND CLAIMING RULES ART1 a) ART 1c) and ART1d)

Yet I am harassing him.

6 Months ago Pashjn said Sj cant build some ugly thing near us.
5 Months ago Pashjn demanded SJ fix his ugly circle. SJ promises it will look beautiful, he needs more time.
Later instead of fixing his ugly circle he builds a box to piss off Pashjn.
He follows it up with another Box right on the border of our city plans, we change our plans.
He asks Max to move our claim so he can build yet ANOTHER box, Pashjn refuses.
2 months ago I asked Godsy to set an ultimatum so he fixes his ugly Box. Godsy said he should remove it or it will get regenerated. I forward the message to SJ.
2 Weeks later he build a tiny cliff that he build in 20 mins, his own words.
He got banned for advertising. Following his unbann we waited yet another week.
And he build yet ANOTHER box.
Max takes over gives him 2 more weeks. Helps him using admin perms, after being called biased just admits.
The Deadline passes, barely any progress. I dont hear back at all for a week…
ANOTHER week after the Deadline Max says “Option 1” will take more time, but “Take my word for it that you’ll prefer the option above, not this one.”
2 days later “Eh its fine like this”

Last week a crew member told us it seems Max is just bidding time to keep SJ around to get on our nerves. (Max has a history of trying to annoy Pashjn and Me)
After extending the Deadline over and over again, that doesnt seem so far fetched.

You keep saying we should be respectful because otherwise Staff wont “waste time” on us, maybe this goes both ways.

Why should we waste months building nice towns so some troll can build boxes next to it for the sole purpose to piss us off and you defend them.
But if you would rather keep people around who advertise, get cought with pvp mods several times, bountygame, break all kinds of rules and builds boxes
instead of people who try to improve the server, have no banns or warnings, host events and try to get people to work together across crews than thats fine.

With such bias against us Its safe to say we wont get justice here so we are going with option 4
