    So I was playing around on a server, lets call it server A. On server A you could obtain money via killing people and selling stuff. Now a key feature of the economy (or lack thereof) on the server were these things called coins. They were admin objects (so they could not be made by players) that had the exact same buy price as sell price. This acted as a physical currency which players could trade from. I say we should add a small thing to the spawn/cove of the server, wait for it, a currency exchange. I thought the admins could create a special gold bar or nugget and give it a value. (I was thinking differnent types of bricks, EX: Regular bricks (name should be in bold or something only admins have access too) would equal $1, nether bricks would equal $10, and gold bars would equal $100.) This is a very rough idea but I think it would be a great thing to add, it would mean that you could store wealth and hide it, and do other piratey things with it, as well as give a medium for trading.

    I don’t mind repeating myself, its all I do! Lets break it down.

    • Physical currency; would mean shutting down the /bal and using an item as currency, if we use an item as currency then it has a few issue:
      1. if its an item like gold/emeralds then currency is limited to what’s on a map
      2. Exhausting limited resources on a map, and then spending them in say an admin shop, means that resource no longer exists, and will run out.
      3. This will increase players using x-ray & try to dupe items to get currency
    • Killing people for money, do I really need to tell you why this is a stupid idea? Looks like I have to since you requested it.
      1. Are you joking me? people will be hunted, noobs will be hunted, itll just be an awful atmosphere on the server having people be repeatedly killed for money.
      2. Obviously 2 players could just stand there and kill each other over and over to game free currency, for infinite free money..
      3. Im not even going to bother going on, this is such a stupid idea.
    • Admin objectives are something I have covered in great detail, find my write up on the forums for the ideas we have to come (not related to the eco update) This isnt a unique idea, we have extensively talked this idea over.

    – Sigh, your “server a” is a perfect example of a terrible admin that has no idea what he/she is doing, and didn’t even think out the basics.
