Circle Expansion?

Hello, I know in all the flurry of suggestions prior to the new server coming online this was discussed, and most people were in favor of the idea of it, so now that we have ‘settled’ into the new server, I thought I would bring it up again and see how it flies. 🙂

So, I know we don’t want to create any more lag, but I really don’t think it would if we expanded the circle of the world. Even if by a little, it would increase the new, unclaimed available area by quite a bit.

Anyway, there it is. Just a suggestion/request. I’ll duck my head under a rock while the stones fly 🙂

I like the idea…i know that there are still a lot of unclaimed areas for the taking but…..i would like some new campingareas 😀

World expansion! I was talking to staff about this the other day, we are currently on 7500, I was considering bumping it to 10,000, but then I thought, what would be better would be an entire new world!

I think he means the no tp island world he has hinted towards in the past

(This could be 100% wrong don’t quote me on this probs wrong btw)

@godsdead would that mean if you reset the world would we have to get our recourses all again

No please read what is written, a new world means a brand new world, not the current world; a new one, a newly created world in addition to the current one.

i dont like the idea of a new world because all the platers current build would be for nothing and all the op players would have to start again right?

@TamsJL No. It was said up that this new world won’t override the one we have now but instead it will be an addition. You will have the ability to switch between one world and another thanks to a /warp command or a portal I guess. All the buildings here will stay untouched. You can carry resources in your inventory from the first to the second world but you can’t transport ships. The aim is to create a pvp focused world with no map and teleport in order to create a more natural combat feeling while keeping our old world with the same safe rules.
