Hello, if you are like me and had an automatic update to your minecraft edition to 1.9 and then couldn’t log into our favorite ‘ol pyratey server, and got an error that said ‘server out of date’ or some such thing, –keep calm and don’t panic — I didn’t, ok, maybe just a little. 🙂
In any case, here is an article from mojang saying how to create a profile that will let you log into an older version (1.8.9 in this case).
Just be aware to switch back if the newer version if you have created any local singleplayer games with 1.9, and when ever the server gets the update also.
