I added polls to PirateCraft website, so users can vote on an opinion, There is a possibility to only open polls for registered users.

All current and past polls have a dedicated page found under information>polls now, This includes polls that are not included in the sidebar on the website, Any ideas for poll questions can be added to this thread.

Um, the polls tab under information redirected me here if I had an idea for a new poll, which I do, I hope this is the appropriate thread!

-Poll 1: Name the four main continents of PirateCraft: Told Godsdead about this, he said “yesss!!!!” but thought I’d include it all the same.

We need muskets and Cutlasses for This version of minecraft to make it feel like actual Piratecraft instead of plain old minecraft with ships. Almost all the players will agree, and I’ve posted on the forums a plugin for weapons. The Balkon’s mod does a great job showing how a musket and flintlock pistol should be. Definitely should be considered.
If we change the feel of the game, into our own version, we will stand out, and attract more players. Remember, most people play online to escape plain old minecraft, so by adding guns, we may very well get to 100+ players, and guns will add some awesomeness to sieging other ships on the ocean.

The PirateCraft texturepack (ask Markusi13 for a copy) changes bows into pirate flintlock pistols and arrows into bullets 😉

Chickens transform into something truly Pirate’ish as well, but in what way you will have to find out yourself 😛

I think a poll on whether /parley should be added to /siege 😀

/parley would give you, say, 2-3 minutes to plead your case to the pirate before they can continue sieging. It would disable pvp for the time and give people an option to talk through a dispute, or bribe the pirate, etc and soforth.

If it’s possible (maybe with the help of ryguy) we should have a poll and see if others want to add it!

It technically wouldnt be possible without developers creating it.

Perhaps there should be a type of poll that could be initiated by a group leader and asked only to members of the group? That way people do not have to be present on the server if a vote goes down.
