killing people with a potato should totally be an achievement.

if possible there should be some with kill streaks, like

One of Many- Kill 1 person.

Killer of Sea Dogs- Kill 10 people.

Bane of Villages- Kill 100 People.

Pirate Legend- Kill 500 People.

Keep in mind that these would be all killstreak achievements, so the last one will be challenging to get 🙂

id love to hunt down and collect new achievments. I like finding new things to do, even if it’s short term goals. need something else to do, it keeps the server interesting. ive nearly finished my goal of getting all the brew recipes (nearly, still missing a few 😛 ) so id welcome the idea of new achievments 🙂

This would be great, not completely game changing; just a nice addition to the server that improves gameplay.

If its possible, how about achievements for making certain hard to find brews? I think it would be nice for people to see when a rare brew is first brewed by someone. As well as this, perhaps also an achievement for brewing a number of brews? For example, things like ‘grog maker’ or something similarly piratey I think would be good. Or perhaps ascending in increasing order of how many brews have been created, the names could use different piratey vessels for drinks that are different sizes – eg, Nipperkin filler, Tankard filler, Bottle filler, Cask filler and Hogshead filler.

Also, how about an achievement for consuming a number of brews? I think it would be nice, however as we have some younger users it may not be a good idea to condone the excessive consumption of alcohol. If this is viable, however, perhaps it could be called something like “carouser” (Apparently pirate slang for “One who drinks wassail and engages in festivity, especially riotous drinking.”)
