1. People could make way bigger claims in less time and this results in people having a large ass claim around their base and this it would be impossible to get a cannon close enough to the base to kill the player.
2. Deckhand claims all around the world would not be as small anymore but would increase in size drastically and thus many more inactive claims would fill the world and make expanding ur claim a pain in the ass which it already is in the old world.
3. Point 2. would require admins to get rid of many more claims and this means more work.
4. I know u said something along the lines of basing the claimblock income by rank yesterday in main chat and the problem with that is that you are making the richer even more rich.
Claimblocks also mean money. If a. quartermaster gets more claimblocks per hour than a sailor he would make more money by just existing.
