Rather than making other things worse and keeping movecraft ships the same, it has been on our mind to increase the speed of movecraft ships, most likely when they’re in cruise mode.

I think its been said a few times but we slowed the ships down almost 2 years ago to enable people to walk around on ships. Either you get a reasonably fast ship but everyone is standing still, can’t use cannons, can’t do anything for that matter; or you get a slower ship whereby people can walk around and actually do stuff. Yes they’re slow, we all know that and its been brought up a thousand times, but for me the benefits outweigh the downsides.

Making cruise mode faster is also an option, but for godsy to decide on. Not my call at all.

Piggybacking off what Gods once said: there are a lot of variables that would need to be changed for this to work. We have a hard enough time as it is to get the plugins we got working with siege, claims, WG, etc. And even then some are still a bit buggy. It would be likely that anti-cheat wouldn’t like it, and start lagging people for it, and we don’t want that 🙁
