the ban being permanent is also what ticks me off.. Again, I don’t know the full story, but to perma ban a guy for asking a rule that is required for him to know seems too much. Idk if he has done something else in the past, but I would like to ask that be explained.

In my opinion it is not mature, nor is it sufficient to ban a player with the tag “idiot”.. why not “banned for breaking rule no. # and being rude to staff” or whatever he did… It’s not only callie, I’m just referring to what I see in the screenshot in this situation – I see these sort of messages all across the board when I have previously looked in the punishment checker.

I’m not trying to bring uproar and call the staff incompetent – it has nothing to do with that, I can also be an idiot towards others on the server, because generally I do feel the tone and attitude most players on this server have is quite above rude and it takes you off guard sometimes. BUT when I look at staff, I want to see people raised above that.. At least when they are on duty. I understand it can be frustrating, but it really sends a bad signal throughout the server, when it is okay for our staff to act like this, it reflects back so players think its fine to act tough and go all out on those who fuck up. I get it, but people also make mistakes sometimes and I really think staff could try to keep their cool more often.. I know I’ve been yelled at a few times in the past, where I was left with a feeling of “wow, this escalated from 0 to 100 real fast.. “. I never tend to speak out about how I feel about staff and I think generally most people are kind of afraid of some sort of backlash resulting in a ban when doing so. I just don’t think people should be afraid to raise concerns, if those concerns might be a bit “stupid, you should have known that”.. also concerns about staff in general, like this one, tends to be looked upon with disgust. I don’t speak out to frame nor belittle anyone.. I do it because I think the way the staff team is moving is a bit too much and I want to bring it to discussion when I see this ban.
I know you guys want all the best for the server, but that alone is not what makes a good staff member, being caring and listening to people, helping even though its fucking common sense. even though the guy is annoying you, you don’t call him an idiot or whatever.. I don’t know if that’s just me, but the tension is just building up inside. You guys do a good job, but the rudeness and attitude, I don’t think that ever fit on a member of staff in any organisation, small business, whatever, NOR a minecraft server… Godsy might be fine with this and it’s his server, no doubt, but I feel its too much. Hate me for it, blame me back for not understanding how it is to deal with idiots every day. I just honestly think I’m not the only one who think this could be improved. It’s All up to staff to change this behavior, because people actually look to you guys and mirror what they see, because on a minecraft server, the staff is someone to look up to for most new and older players.

I just generally get pissed when I see these cocky ban justifications, because in no way as a staff member can you justify a Permanent ban with “idiot” in my opinion, just like that, first strike, no chances? he was a clean dude up until his encounter with callie, right?. You guys get tired of idiots, but you of all guys should strive to be prime examples of how a good player should act towards others. I have no clue how I can say this without sounding demeaning and rude, but someone has to take the fall if that’s what it takes.. I’m well aware people before me have been banned for criticizing staff, but I really hope you guys can understand I’m not saying this out of evil. I just don’t agree anymore with the way some incidents are handled, this one being one of them, thus why I’m voicing it here..
