I might be off when intervening in this, but when I read through this I kind of get a bit frightened.

I haven’t seen the whole log and if I had my opinion might be different, but right now it looks as though spider was asking out of ignorance, yes, but I to be quite honest, don’t think it is fair to put a Perma Ban on him for inquiring about his friend. bottom line is that this guy had done nothing wrong, but contacting staff resulted in a permanent ban.. Seems harsh to me and really makes me less reluctant to take contact to staff in the future, out of fear that I might say something wrong and piss someone off, thus resulting in a similar punishment..

I do generally think staff has become a bit harsh, I understand it’s annoying to be asked these sort of stuff, but you did apply for the job yourself to be fair.. You do this because you love the server, just like the rest of us.

Idk, It really just seem as though there can be some moments of “over execution” of power, I mean.. these guys are new to the server, yeah? so being ignorant is unavoidable. I didn’t know all rules when I first joined and I’m sure no one did…

I actually think this is a reoccurring issue.. and I say this because I do get concerned a bit, as I said, I might be off.. maybe i don’t know the bigger picture, so correct me if wrong, but i think there should be some sort of focus on newer players and take into consideration that they are new and not just kick them straight out… They could end up being great players long term
