TAS actually spent maybe… a week on and off building a large canal connecting once the inaccessible northern ocean to the main ocean

it isn’t 100% finished, as theres a small inlet that needs to be widened before a large ship can pass. the canal was lined with double stone slabs, which cannot be used on a ship currently. jmoo and arti workied on the canal and made it halfway, then I asked several players, including saltpigeon, and cottagecooper, along with several TAS members; we plowed through the rest of the canal, and got it finished and filled with water the next day. with enough help and effort, it is possible to do something like that again. for reference, that canal is over 600 blocks long.

(I’m aware there is a ship there, it is locked and waiting to be sailed to a port where it can be kept safe. if anyone needs passage though, they can ask me and I can open it up for them)

we have plans to dig another, we just need to find patience and willingness to dig another ungodly long canal.
