Suggestion #1: Have a continent or other large part of the map that is “no TP.” Still allows for non-TP gameplay development while not segregating users across two worlds.

Suggestion #2: Long cooldowns for TP. Cooldown timer can be accelerated by some action like chopping wood or mining. Still preserves needed flexibility of using TP while minimizing TP impact on pvp, ambushes, etc.
