According to this page, http://piratemc.com/2014/02/16/a-new-beginning-piratecraft-version-2/ , Piratecraft 2 was opened in February 2014. I will leave 2013 out because of the small amount of people and events, as you said.
If the Nassau “crew” (the real crew plugin was added in April 2015 but it doesn’t matter, of course) was founded within the first 24 hours, then it’s month of foundation would be February 2014. Nassau was an island town if I am correct and The Batavian Crew was the proper, official crew name. March 2014 would be the month of foundation of New Providence and the month of the fall of the Batavian Empire. Port Royal became then a city-state in April 2014, welcoming the Nassau’s citizens.
(Or did the Batavian Empire include both Nassau and Port Royal?)
